It is hard to put into words how pleased we are with our experience working with James, Lost in a Daze for our engagement shoot and wedding. James went beyond your standard photographer to really get to know us and it shows through each and everyone of the photos he captured. We do not usually like being in front of a camera let alone looking at photos of my self. James made himself feel like a friend attending our wedding and let us be ourselves whilst capturing the sweetest moments. We can’t stop looking at the photos because each one takes us to a special moment of wedding. His responsiveness, professionalism and quality of work could not be faulted.

James has an eye for candids, landscape, and is able to capturing those typical wedding photos that you don’t want to miss. However, it is what happens behind the camera that I find most special about him- he is a man full of passion and heart, and his primary passion is for the people that he is working with. Being a people-person is a huge strength of his, as it made us feel relaxed enough to reveal our true selves when it came time for portraits. The relationship you have with you photographer is crucial to the outcome of your photos, which is why I would say pick James. He will vibe with you, laugh with you, and get excited with you on your day. We honestly couldn’t be happier, we were out of our minds in love with the photos!!!

James shot our wedding like he was holding a backstage pass for an Alice Cooper gig. The motion and emotion was captured more beautifully and authentically than we ever could have conceived! We look at our photos now and are instantly transported back to that day. Raw, intense imagery bursting with soul. James’ photos make you feel electric inside.Combine that with the dude being an absolute legend, a lovely bloke that is bloody good at his job. You won’t have to worry about missing a moment - trust me he got it. You don’t want cookie cutter “candid” photos… you DO want James to shoot your wedding.
